INSTRUCTIONS
If you are willing & able to meet any of the needs listed above, or if you have any items or services that you can give which you haven't told us about yet, go to 1st Congregational Church of Stockton (6702 Inglewood Ave. Suite E - Stockton, CA 95207) on any Sunday between the hours of 9:45 AM to 2:30 PM, and fill out as many of the green S-O-S forms as needed (one form per giveaway) - the forms are found on the S-O-S table as you walk into the building.
To let us know about any items or services you need which you haven't told us about yet, go to 1st Congregational Church of Stockton (6702 Inglewood Ave. Suite E - Stockton, CA 95207) on any Sunday between the hours of 9:45 AM to 2:30 PM, and fill out as many of the pink S-O-S forms as needed (one form per need) - the forms are found on the S-O-S table as you walk into the building.
IMPORTANT NOTE: S-O-S gets people to physically meet in order that they may address stated needs. If you are not willing to meet with people face-to-face, this is not for you. In order to participate in S-O-S, you will have to physically meet the other party (who will meet your need, or whose need you will meet). You will also have to fill out the appropriate S-O-S forms as stated in the instructions above.
Exceptions to the face-to-face rule DO exist, however. For example, if a person wants to give money to aid somebody in need, or even a car, they may remain anonymous and choose NOT to meet the person they are helping. Exceptions are worked out on a case-by-case basis.
If & when a match is found between a giving party and a party in need, an S-O-S representative will contact the giving party and instruct the giver(s) so that he/she/they may contact the person(s) in need, to make arrangements for meeting the stated need(s).
